Year End Reflections 2017-2018
I like to make sure new kids have friends when they come to my school. Silas was a new kid and for the first few days I sat with him at lunch. KORBIN
My favorite 5th grade memory is running my last cross country meet. I got a good place (which I can’t remember.) At the end, my dad gave my friend and I iced teas. It was hard but we did it. It felt amazing to cross the finish line. After, my friend and I walked my dog Lacey around. We had a lot of fun! ANONYMOUS
Tye-dye t-shirts and science labs were fun memories. ANONYMOUS
Memories: my friends Anderson, Marilyn, Hannah, Julianna, Addison, Corey, Mrs. Cote and Mrs. Seekins. JOZEY
In the 5th grade, I was on the track team. My best friends were Cole, Maddox and Korbin. SILAS
My favorite memory is when I became friends with Kristina, Julianna, Addison, and Gabrielle. TRINITY V
Everything this 5th grade year was amazing. I will miss everything except homework. My favorite teachers this year are Mrs. Seekins, Mrs. Cote and Mr. T. HANNAH
Doing cross country with my friend! ANONYMOUS
My favorite moment this year is the time Gabby had a Genius Hour project of teamwork. I showed people that clover petals taste like sugar (which they do.) I got to spend a lot of time outside and you don’t really do that in the 5th grade. CULLIN
My favorite 5th grade memories were when I joined drama and met my really good friends Will and Veronica. MARILYN
The 5th grade was very special. I got a first date. I was in my first drama production. I did cheering for the first time in my life and made the team. I learned lots of responsibility and maturity. JULIANA

Year End Reflections
Each year I ask students to write what they will remember about fifth grade....a favorite memory, event or activity. Here are this year's.
I will remember that I helped fire a cannon at Fort Western and that Bryce stuffed the straw into the cannon. Hunter
My favorite thing that I did this year was when went to the science festival because we learned a lot of and got to do stuff on our own. Ava
The Superman Ride at Six Flags. It was awesome. It was an hour wait but you get so hyped up that it flies by. Then you get on and you look up. It is so tall you can see the whole park. You drop and you feel like you stomach is in your chest. Then you go up and drop and turn. You can not move. I am doing it again. Nick
My favorite thing this year was Six Flags. ALso I will never forget my great teachers from my first year of middle school. Brooke
I will always remember Superman from Six Flags. Connor B.
My favorite thing I did was tye dyeing t-shirts because I had never tye dyed shirts before. Lily
My favorite thing in fifth grade was ELA classes because we did a lot of awesome things like tye dyeing shirts. But, the most important reason is because Mrs. Seekins teaches ELA. Jeb
My favorite part of 5th grade was when we did the egg drop because we got to build and be creative in what we were doing. We also got to see all the eggs crack when they did not work. Ella
My favorite part of the year was firing a cannon. Liam
My favorite thing about 5th grade was the play and being in drama because of how involved we get in drama and it’s so much fun. Violet
The best part of fifth grade was going on the Superman for our SIx Flags band trip. I went with Jack, Chris, and Brayden. When we went on the Superman it had a really tall drop. At the end of the ride we all said that was amazing. Bryce
The most memorable moment of 5th grade is at Fort Western when I lit the cannon and it was twice as loud because Bryce had put 2 fuses in the cannon. Sammy
I will remember all the funny jokes and laughs, the last stories I wrote in world language, the egg drop project and the Snoopy. Anonymous
One thing that I will mostly remember is when Mr. K was sick and our sub was Mr. Fox. Ryan
