Here is the letter that was sent out yesterday outlining the "teacher parade" as well as some other information.
June 3, 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I wanted to send a follow-up email with more specific details to upcoming events. Just a reminder that our 8th grade graduation video will be released today at 4:00 on our website. Students may want to be able to see this, I am sure they will recognize some familiar faces!
June 5th: June 5th will be our last formal day of school. As promised, we will be doing a bus/car parade. We will be leaving Center Drive at 10:00. Our route will be as follows: Turn left onto Center Drive to the River Road. Turn left onto River Road to Swett's Pond Road.On Swett's Pond, turn left onto Johnson Mill Road, then right onto Center Drive. Turn left onto Long Hill, then right onto Brewer Lake. Go out and around the loop on Brewer Lake and return to Lake Road and to Bob's Kozy Korner. Turn right onto Snow's Corner, then left onto Kent's Drive. Turn left onto Snow's Corner, then right onto River Road, driving down McKinley and Roosevelt Avenues. Turn left onto River Road back to Center Drive. Turn left at Bouchard Drive, then return to school. Our hope, of course, is if your road isn’t within this route you will find a place to bring some chairs along the route and wait for us. WE WANT TO SEE AS MANY KIDS AS POSSIBLE! WE MISS OUR KIDDOS!!!
June 8th and 9th: Parents may come to school to pick up their child’s personal belongings and drop off and items belonging to the school (laptops, ipads, bag of books, library books, etc.) Similar to how we did our packet pick-up in March, drive to the roundabout by the flagpole. Someone will greet you and bring your things to the car. Times for this are as follows:
Monday, June 8th: 9:00-12:00, 5:00-7:00
Tuesday, June 9th: 1:00-4:00
June 12th: You should be receiving report cards in the mail sometime around the 12th. If you do not receive it by the following mid-week, please call the school. We had a slight change in our Middle School grading codes. We had intended on having a “grade” of PD (passing with distinction). Web2School would not allow us to enter two letters in the same box so we made a decision to change the “PD” to an “E” for excelling. This will be explained on the middle school insert.
Enjoy your summer, everyone. Thank you for the continued support for our school!

Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day so no new assignments will sent.
Progress Reports
On Friday, April 24, we sent out progress reports so you can see what units have been presented and what has been completed. Units that need improvement, that are incomplete, or that are not started can still be worked on. We encourage students to finish all work before new assignments are given on Monday. All assignments are on Google Classroom under the Classwork section.
If you or your child have any questions, please email us. We are also available to set up individual video conferences to go over any assignment students don’t understand. Starting the week of April 27, we will be continuing with our weekly video conferences with students on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Students are being asked to get caught up on assignments that have been previously assigned if they did not do so during the week of April 13-17. All got emails on APRIL 13 listing work that was due. An updated email will be sent to those who still have assignments to complete.

March 24, 2020
Dear Parent,
We are all experiencing a lot of firsts, and we hope this finds you all safe and adjusting well. We would like to be able to check in with our students daily but need to have a better understanding of their access to the online class and materials. If you would be willing to fill out the google form that is linked, it would be greatly appreciated.

Both Ms. Seekins and Mr. Theriault are using Google Classroom to post daily work assignments. Right now the assignments closely mirror the outline that we sent in the packet, but they are being adjusted for the extended length that the students will be away from school. Students will need to check Google Classroom Monday through Friday for their daily work. Many of the assignments can be completed in Google Classroom under the classwork section.
We are both available through email from parents/students or through comments in Google Classroom. Assignments are normally updated by 8am, and we try to check for comments/questions periodically throughout the day.
Today we plan to post an assignment on Google Classroom for all our students asking them to fill out a form that describes how they are doing and if they have any questions concerning assignments. We plan to send a similar post every weekday morning as a way to check in daily with them. If you would let them know so they will expect the assignment and have them fill out the form daily it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
Ms. Seekins
Mr. T
Mr. T and I have put together packets for students to work on. If you have any questions about any work, please contact us. Have your child check Google Classroom for daily assignments and adjustments.
LETTER FROM MRS. MARVIN ABOUT THE 2 WEEK CLOSURE.
We will be sending you information through email, posting to our website and facebook as information becomes available. As you have heard repeatedly, information is coming at us rapidly and changing often.
Staff have been working today furiously putting together learning packets for your children. I would encourage you to have them work for approximately 2 hours per day on different learning activities just to maintain their skills. The school has set up times for you to pick up these packets (along with laptops, instruments and any other things left at school). We will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 am-9:00 am and 3:00 pm-6:00 pm for parents to come to the front office lobby to pick these things up.
Lunch delivery will begin on Wednesday, March 18th. This program is available to any student under the age of 18 regardless of free and reduced eligibility. Please take advantage of this!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

SUPPLY LETTER FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020
It’s almost time for school to start. We hope you had a great summer and are enjoying your days off. Here’s a list of school items you will need to pick up for your return to school. It’s really helpful to bring these on the first day of school so we can get organized right from the start!
** SIX pencils (No mechanical pencils or loose lead pencils. Ticonderoga pencils are great. The lead is dark enough and they sharpen easily.)
**blue or black ink pens (erasable is acceptable)
**red pen for editing
**1-2 highlighters
**tie string bag for Phys. Ed. items (suggested)
**earbuds (suggested as a backup pair if the school ones break. Please do not invest in an expensive pair. Leave at home until needed.)
We will be supplying a 3 ring binder. We will provide a pencil pouch where you will keep the above items. We will also be providing a homework folder. Make sure you keep some pencils and pens at home for your homework. You will NOT need a binder of any kind.
Fifth graders will have lockers. They will keep their coats and backpacks in them. Please do not purchase any locker accessories as the lockers are not metal nor do many items fit in them.
We hope you have read at least one good book this summer and have practiced your multiplication tables. We would love to hear from you. Write us a letter letting us know what you’re doing, how your summer is going or ask any questions you have. We’ll write back so put your return address on the envelope. We have included email addresses if you want to email instead.
We need you to start the year with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and high goals for a great year. We know we are looking forward to being with you this year and making it a year to remember.
See you at Open House on Monday, August 26 from 6pm to 7pm.
